Tower of Fantasy reveals its initial extension Vera

In China, the original version of Tower of Fantasy is about to evolve in version 2.2. In the West, Tower of Fantasy was launched less than two weeks ago (August 11), but the title already claims 10 million installations and to retain these (new) players, the Hotta studio is tackling already to the deployment of a first extension, entitled Vera.

Presented as version 2.0 of Tower of Fantasy, the Vera update will be deployed for free this fall and by then, the developer takes advantage of Gamescom to start revealing the content. According to the studio, Vera is the name of a new cyberpunk style zone, bringing new environments, frames, monsters or even weapons. More concretely, the update obviously revolves around a Cyberpunk hub, the city of Mirroria, located in the heart of the Gobby desert, a large desolate and irradiated area. The place will notably house new bodies, raids and legendary _bosses to challenge, but also events at stake, with their share of missions and rewards of progression. Before the| Cataclysm | , the Vera area was under the jurisdiction seventh district of Helgaard , but it has since lost all contact with the main dimension. The environment is dominated by the _Gobby desert and the climate is both warm and dry. For the occasion, the game was also the subject of a graphic update, notably aimed at improving the rendering of the sand expanses (on which the characters leave traces of steps, for example).
