If everything goes well, in a few weeks the first commercial units of Steam Deck will be being sent. Valve previously said that there would no longer have to be another delay, but everything can change these days. Your developers certainly took advantage of this additional time to implement a few improvements to their design, and among them, we have the anti-traps system Easy Anti-Cheat.
Today, Valve shared a message for game developers where they make known that technology Easy Anti-Cheat is now available at Steam Deck:
They can already make their games with EAC compatible with Steam Deck very easily and without the need to integrate new services or add binary play files or SDK versions.
That is, some games like Fortnite, Rust, Battlefield 2042 or Halo: The Master Chief Collection They will be perfectly playable on this new device. Similarly, other titles that use Battleaxe will also be compatible with the Steam Deck.
Editor's note: It is definitely excellent news for those who enjoy this type of game. And it is that the theme of the cheats has been heating a lot of recent months thanks to Call of Duty: War zone, which until date has not been able to solve this problem to one hundred percent.
